For insurance & risk teams

Your technology team, without hiring one.

You know insurance and risk; you shouldn't have to become a software company to ship a risk platform. I run delivery end to end — architecture, engineers, infrastructure — and you get the result.

Sound familiar?

  • A prototype or vendor-built tool that real users now depend on
  • Data and models stuck in spreadsheets, scripts, or one person’s laptop
  • No engineering team, and no wish to build one just for this project

How we’d work together

Start small, prove value, then hand me the whole build.

  1. 01

    Free consult

30 minutes on your problem. You leave with a concrete next step.

  2. 02

    Audit & roadmap

$4k, 1 week: what to build, what to buy, what it costs.

  3. 03

    Pilot project

One scoped build that proves value in weeks, not quarters.

  4. 04

    Run your tech

Ongoing delivery: I own the internals — architecture, engineers, shipping — and report outcomes.

Me, directly

You work with me hands-on: architecture, product, and the code itself. When the work outgrows my hours, I add an engineer I direct, at the same rate.

Me + an engineer

From day one, I own architecture, product, and management, and an engineer I direct handles implementation. One rate, more shipped per week.

InnSure — Climate-risk analysis platform

Fractional CTO / Software Architect

Inherited a Replit-built beta that Massachusetts city administrators use for parcel-level flood risk. My week-one due diligence rejected the assumed greenfield rewrite in favor of lifting the monolith onto managed infrastructure. Since then: the first CI/CD, with per-PR Neon database branches (before, every pull request ran against production data), an S3 storage port verified byte-identical on real properties, and a production replacement environment stood up and verified.

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Express
  • Postgres / Neon
  • Drizzle
  • S3
  • Python

Happy to walk through any of it on a call.

Tell me what you want to build. I’ll tell you how I’d deliver it.
